Hello

i am planning to buy me some new tail lights . for the apache stepside the one i have is a military model and it is not save enough and i can not get spare bulbs easy and they are expensive too .
So i check the sellers and i see the standard lights and there are with a blue dot .
What does it mean is it a special effect or what is the idea behind it .

I am looking forward for reactions

It was just a fad we went thru, back in the 50’s. It looks cool because it makes the tail
lights look purple.
The down-side is in the daylight it makes the stop lights just about impossible to see
when they are applied.
My recommendation, stay away from them unless you think cool is better than safe.
