Help! I lost the 2 bolts that bolt the bell housing to the rear cross member in my 64. I have new motor mounts upper/lower and for the life of me can't find the bolts. Then again, I may be looking right at them and not aware of it.

Do any of you guys know right off what they are? I am assuming I will have to buy some.

I think I have all my bell housing to motor and transmission to bell housing bolts.

They are 1/2 in. bolts, coarse thread. I,m not shure about the length. There is a sleeve that goes over the bolt between the biscuits. You have to have those too. There is a lock plate that goes under the head of the bolt but I use a flat washer & lock washer instead.

Well. That is a bummer because I think I have lost the sleeve as well. Do you know if one could buy the sleeve?

Thank you sir for all your help.

I believe some of the specialty suppliers have the bolt & sleeves as a kit. Try American classic or Classic parts.

Well, I stumbled over my missing bolts and sleeves Sunday and was able to sit my motor in today. If it had been a snake..well... Thanks to Mr. Davenport for emailing me some pics of them. I was totally lost as to what to look for.
