Looking for the cables that go to the clamshell.
Also was looking to see if anyone has the templets that show where to drill to place hardware

Jon - the hardware locations for both styles already exist on the truck, "blanked" with small cover plates - details in the assembly manual Sect.1 Sheets 111-114 for barn doors, Sheets 115-119 for the clamshell ... the cable goes into a hole [with a bezel around it] on the door frame just above the latch and then into the reel assembly, which mounts inside the wall and appears to be accessible via the small inspection plate on the side wall

hope that helps some, but it looks complicated enough you really should have the manual wink

For the retractors, I found the original company that made them for the Suburbans. It's http://www.pullmanmfg.com/

I have a thread out there that states what size and pull, but I can't remember off the top of my head. For the balls, try a marine source to swedge them onto the end of the cable
