I am trying to find a axle to use with my truck (46 3/4 ton chevy PU) with a higher ratio (3.10 – 3.90) range, for better highway speeds. After talking to Patrick of Patrick’s Cars & Trucks he gave me a number for an axle from a Ford ¾ ton Van (1987 to 1993). The number is E5TW4210BJ…I have had several people try a cross reference this with a Hollander Cross Ref. Manual with little luck. After checking with Patrick again today, he verified that the number is correct (with the possible exception the 0 could be alpha or numeric). He said that over the last year several people have called him for the same info and didn’t have any problems in finding that axle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
