The slide switch (dash lights or map light switch) is very easy to fix; it you still have one. The fiberboard deteriorates. You can replace the fiberboard where the terminal posts mount with Printed Circuit board material. The middle contact is centered and use the “U” shaped brass slide switch to measure the spacing center to center on the contacts. I used #6 brass screws and screwed the contact posts to the circuit board. I found the circuit board at Radio Shack. All they had was the pre drilled hole type but any rigid plastic would work. Beats the almost 100.00 I see them sell for on ebay. Oh yeah I lost the spring when I was cleaning it. It’s in the garage someplace . I have a couple of pictures in photobucket. I changed the terminals so they all face the same direction.
