For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 224 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 224 | I saw a listing for a GMC 9 foot bed that I'm very interested in, but I know there are differences between makes. Does anyone know if that applies to the truck beds as well? I have a Chevy 3800 and hoping this will solve my absent truck bed problem.

That was on the 41-46's Im not sure on the later years. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 139 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 139 | i just bought a 9' 2" long bed off a 1949 GMC one ton that was a Saskatchewan grain truck with a hydraulic tilting p/u box with regular rear fenders. I plan on putting it all onto my 47 Studebaker one ton flat deck so that I'll end up with a wide rear ended 40's dually pick up. i will have to extend the fenders outward in order to clear both wheels/tires.
ode to be differrent!
