Did 48 2 tons not have stop lights? I don't see any connections for stop lights.

The stop light switch should be located under the hood on the fire wall. There should be an arm that comes out of it and sits on top of the brake pedal arm. It is spring loaded so that it will move when you step on the brakes and turn on the stop lights. When the brake is released the arm will be pulled back and turn off the lights.
Hope this helps.

Jim
