I have a 1969 Chev C10 truck and the neutral safety switch is bad. I ordered an new one and it is the wrong one. It looks great BUT the plastic unit that goes down in to the shifter on the column is too short. The old one is about 1/2 " and the new one is about 1/4 ". Any idea where I can get a new one or out of what vehicle it would be.

Hy Waggy, I don't recall you checking in with the new regional forum farter down the page "B.C. Bolters", good to see yet another B.C. bolter. Have you tried to install the switch and check function? Where did you buy the switch?
