i just recently bought a 48 3/4 ton 5 window with a 235 from a 54 passenger car. The previous owner put fenton true dual manifolds on and i was just wondering what it would sound like. anyone have a sound/video clip.

I currently cant hear what it sounds like because the fuel isnt plumbed and its not wired, so i can start it at the moment.

That will sound awesome with dual glasspacks or Magnaflow mufflers.

Sound really unique! When I took mine to the exhaust guys to get it plumbed they thought it was a V8! I have 22" glasspacks and I can set off car alarms if I want to. Just loud enough not to get in trouble. All in all its a good throaty sound.

The Chev/GMC 6 engines (up to '62) have a unique sound all their own. They don't sound like any V-8 I've ever heard (in my opinion, they sound better). Next car show you go to, go find a 6 with Fenton's on it and ask the owner to fire it up for you. Most guys are happy to have an excuse to "rap 'em out".

If you go to Tom Langdon's page you can find a sound bite of his 302. Not quite the same, but it's gonna be close.
