Thanks for any info. dean13 | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | Starting in 1963 all the Chevy blocks had the same bolt pattern, the 4 cyl, the 6 cyl, and the small and big block V8's. This went on till the skinny V6 came out in the S10 and others. The 292 will give you a huge choice of transmissions to use. A 250 will fit in the 41-46 without dishing the firewall but the 292 might take a little creative space making.
