I couldn't find this engine anywhere in the parts catalog but maybe I wasn't looking in the right place. On the right top side of the of the cylinder head is the name Ferro 2, and further across is the number A51, and even further is the letters AY. A 228347504
If that is an A prefix in front of the 228 engine's serial number, the A designated that the cylinder was over-bored by 0.005" from the factory; and, the rod and main bearing journals were ground -0.010"
The A51 might be a date casting code:
A = January
5 = 5th
1 = 1941 (or 1951)
