My 36 Suburban is moving along, with the bed gone and the whole rig blasted it looks like a big silver bread truck. The wood floor was palnked, not a piece of plywood, and it was covered with black rubber. It was pretty beat up, with thin line pattern 1/4 in apart. It was pretty thin so don't think it was linoleum. It didn;t appear to be glued, but thats so long ago. Will have black rubber agian, so will use the metal strips painted black same as panels. The rear boards were pine, but will put in oak this time. The front will have rubber mat material also with wider pattern on it.
One thing is for sure with the block No. stamped on engine indicates it's a very early 36 carryall..it's Number is #1...that surprized me! The indent in the lower door panel on passenger side told us it's the same as a 35 door.where they had to do this to make room for the gastank neck under front seat. and windsheild has no center crank out..side hinges only. hats alos 35 Chevy panels and trucks
Will post some pics when the chassis is painted. Mtvoices.
