I thought I read somewhere that any radiator from any 37 Chevy truck (i.e. 1T, 1.5T, etc.) would fit in a 37 1/2 because the extra thickness of the radiator is toward the grill. I bought a 3 row instead of the 2 row that was in my '38.
The extra thickness is moved towards the front of the cowl away from the fan.
