Hello everyone! I am sure glad I found the stovebolt!! I am getting prepared to try out a new sand blaster this weekend to get the surface rust out of the way and prepare for paint. My friend will be back with his welder to finish the new floor board also. I get a lot of motivation from all of the stories and pics on this site.
I have placed a few pictures in the gallery of what I started with if anyone is interested. Will send more pics soon.

Would like to see the pics, hardshell! The gallery is not a search friendly area, do you have a link to your pics (or a name)?

As soon as I can figure out how to link my pics to my name, I will get that done so you can see my pics. I just told a story about the truck and posted it with the pics in the gallery page. I'm better at truck restoring than computer stuff! Oh, I think i got it

Hardshell, welcome from Scotland and a fellow '50 owner.
Your truck looks pretty complete and not in too bad condition, you should see what some of the guys and gals here started with!

There will be times when you 'hit the wall', we all do at some point in such a build.
Just come to the 'bolt and we'll have you up and running again in no time!
Good luck.
Jock.
