I check out the PDF File you posted Fredoly. I did not know the CH-5-2 were for position 1&4. And the CH-5-3 are for position 2&3. I will have to tell my machine shop befor they put in the new bearings. They have the block and bearings now. May be they allready know the position of my bearings? For any one that did not know; on the cam bearing it is stamp CH-5-2 or CH-5-3. I gess there is both types in the box of a set of CH7 cam bearings. And only 4 CH-5-3 are in the CH11 box? #81302 08/14/2007 3:33 PM | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 841 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 841 | yes on the older blocks they have the 2 sizes, pre 197?. on later ones all 4 bearings are same od. the id is same on all bearings. i hope your machine shop would know this already. they are not too difficult to install yourself and you would know they are right and wouldn't cause binding on cam. you just have to be careful to get the oil holes lined up perfectly and you need a can bearing instailation tool. mine has already paid for itself with the 250 and 292's i've done. | | |
