I just received this NOS Carter YF 2100S as a result of posting a Parts Wanted ad here on the 'Bolt. I only wish that the original paperwork was included in the box although this omission is a small sacrifice in obtaining this nice and hard to find component.

Such beauty brings a tear to my eye! A lovely carb you got there- nearly a shame to run gasoline through it after 50+ years, but better moving a bolt than lining a shelf.

Well Don, it taint in quite the shape that your NOS 2100S is, but with a hundred hours of tender loving care, I just may be able to resurrect it. When I was walking through the junkyard last weekend this was one of those two from the Carter Family that reached out to me saying, “Take me home with you”.

Got a question for Jon. This was on a ’54, 235 and has the larger throttle body with the 1.687” throat and 2.937” hole spacing. Did they make a throttle body to fit the stock 216 for this carb and if they did, do you ever run across them? Also could this be re-jetted for a 216 and what size would the jet be?

Denny I have little doubt that you will be showing us this wilted flower in full bloom one day.
