Does anybody make a full floor pan for the C10, or do you have to patch everything together? Seems like a full pan would be alot easier! Also, it appears that all the aftermarket sheet metal is probably made by 2 or 3 companies overseas, and provide it to all of the companies in America. I have seen where some people compare LMC, Goodmark, etc., to each other, but they are probably all made by the same company anyway. Does anybody know where to buy new USA sheet metal, for a USA truck?

If you think you would be better of replacing the whole floor section on your cab you might just go one better and think about starting the search for a much better cab. and only have to fix a few areas these cabs are still out there and a cab with much less work might save you both work and frustration.

Just asking if one is available, or if there are any US made panels available. Cab is not that bad, that it can't be fixed. Might as well replace it all, if I am going to the trouble of doing it. It only took me 9 years, off & on, to do my last frame off restoration, on a matching numbers 1970 SS Chevelle, so this is not my first time around.I just hate using aftermarket crap!

We have 3 1966 C10 cabs in my local salvage yard here in Columbia, SC. I don't know that the floors are any better than yours, but a complete cab from my salvage yard is only $300 with doors and $170 without doors.(Minus seats and steering column too I guess, but that might be included too if you're lucky.)

Aftermarket crap is likely all you will find, pretty much all that is available.

If it is not original to the truck, it is either aftermarket or NOS. All of the aftermarket floor area patch panels are imported and, in my opinion, they are all, generally speaking, of the same quality, fit & finish.

If you find a cab, that you are prospecting for a floorboard, you would be better off using that cab, as your donor cab. Two-to-make-one, requires a tremendous amount of time and it would be a shame, to sacrifice a good cab, to save one with a bad floor. When they rust, the floor is, primarily, the first area, to begin showing evidence of rust.
