Hi all again...I am really getting great feedback from you all...my next project is hooking up the throttle cable to the carb...it looks to be all there, but is hanging out side (what I assume is the clamp to hold it to the throttle linkage), but I can't figure out how to attach it to the carb linkage as not to interfere with my gas pedal? Any pictures would be a great plus (I am still in grade school...pictures are worth a thousand words)...

John,
Hope these help. Tim Sherridan posted these photos of the linkage on his site. It is an excellent resource if you are doing a restoration.

Carb Linkage photo's. They work for me.

Should be similar if not identical.

Glad to help. You'll need a wire stop on the end of the wire. You can get them at any place that sells lawn mower parts.

Happy New Year all...Tiny sent me a great picture of the linkage that I need for my carb...unfortunately I can't modify the linkage to the same configuration...I was wondering if any of you had a old carb with that type of linkage in your parts bin that you might want to sell...

See Tiny’s link above for pics of linkage… “Should be similar if not identical”
Thanks,

John
