I want to connect a 700R trans to a 1956 Chevy 235. Has anyone done it? Are there any adapters for this?

Do a search for Langdon's Stovebolt engine company. He has a kit that includes a flex plate for 350 bucks.

Got the adapter and flex plate from Buffalo. A real good example in old time hot rod machine work. Highly recommend.
