Can anybody tell me the size of the bolts that go through the pads on the bellhousing mount on a 55-59 TF truck? I want to see if I bought the right size without crawling under the truck in the cold to check. The desired answer is 1/2-13 x 3 (since that's what I bought). But now I'm afraid its 7/16. I wasn't clever enough to measure it yesterday when I was already out there.

regards,
Leon

I'm not sure of the length off hand but I know they are 1/2 in. coarse threads.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Thanks.

I'm not as worried about the length - I bought 3" and 3 1/2" ones.
If 3" is too long, I can use a stack of washers till the next time I get to Tractor Supply. But glad to hear its 1/2" coarse thread. If it were 7/16 or fine thread I was stymied until Monday.

regards,
Leon
