I don't have a tachometer so i was wondering what speeds are usually a good time to shift on flat ground? I understand i can figure it out by using sites to figure it out but i'm unsure of what the gears in the transmission, 1st is something like 7:1. does anyone know what the axle ratio is? | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Assuming that the trans and axles are the oem parts, your ratios are as follows;
Transmission
1rs- 7.05:1
2nd- 3.58:1
3rd- 1.71:1
4th- 1:1
Reverse- 6.78:1
The axle ratios should be 4.55:1 front, 4.56:1 rear.

You can feel it when it poops out running hard.(shift quicker) Other wise just shift it soft. You arn't racing any one are you? | | |
