Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 304 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 304 | Anyone know of a good sealer for glass in the guages ? It seems to me that it may rattle w/out being glued or something. It's in between two pcs of metal. Shouldn't there be something?

If I was doing it over though I would try some plumbers putty around the edge. I can see a little dust getting in there. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 4,263 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 4,263 | | | | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 2,557 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 2,557 | You got it Dads50,that's what I use.

I saw that gasket in my LMC catalog and have it ordered, but the description sounded like it was for the space between the bezel and the backing plate. Not for the glass. Different spot. I'll do both. Add some plumbers putty for the glass and see about the gasket once it arrives. Thanks again everyone. (ordering a Classic Trucks catalog right now!!)
