can I use my original 6 cyl. rad. in my sbc 305 swap .? and if so whats the best way to clean it out , can I tap a couple cooling fittings in it as well for the trans ? thanks

yes you can use it for a V8 if it's sound .... the best way to clean it is take it to a rad shop and have them clean and evaluate it ... no you can't add trans cooling internally unless you expect your trans to be lubricated with water and your engine to be cooled with ATF wink you'd need an aftermarket cooler that mounts to the front of the rad
