For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 304 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 304 | Just sayin Hi. I am fairly new to these old chevy trucks. I grew up in Arlinton during the 60's- 70's so am very familiar with 60's trucks but nothing as old as my current '52 3100. Been wrenchin since around 10 years old. Got a "stock" 52 that I am finishing up right now. Plan is to sell it at Charlotte April 19-22 car show. I'm really into hot rods and not stock stuff, but this 52 was in way to good shape to pass up!! A buddy of mine in Lurray (spelling) has a 57 that will be my next ride!! He has already said he will sell it to me and it's the year I was was born sooo- Let me know if anyone needs a truck to be looked at, parts picked up or anything else down this way. I'd be happy to help anyone out anyway I can.

It *is* good to have another Marine onboard (it looks personal when it's just the three same guys taking turns beating up Hambone all the time...).
Come hang with your ODSS brethren sometime. We have things going on in January, April, July, September and whenever one of us needs an "intervention" -- That's ODSS code for "Come quickly -- I need help drinking all this beer I just bought!"

I will look up ODSS and see what I can find out about getting together. Lexington is real close to me as u probably know. That 57 I was referring to is from a buddy of mine that I grew up with. I've known him since I was 5 or 6 years old!!! I even named a son after him!! No @#$% !! Point is- he's trustworthy and at least I'll get the straight scoop on the truck. Hope to sell the '52 in the spring and buy the '57 then. USMC history- VMFA-251 '75-'79 F-4 squadron, 6531 which is ORDNANCE. Yeah, nobody bother me!!! 4 yrs. E-4.
