Finally found an S10 tailshaft for the T5/open rear swap on my '53 1/2 ton, but it's the tailshaft ONLY. The seller does NOT have the shorter shift rail for the S10 tail shaft, so I was wondering if I could simply cut the longer rail down to size and drill a hole for the pin.
Anyone done it? Watch-outs?
