My '52 6400 has a newer 250 in it. The bellhousing ears for the rear mounts are angled and the crossmember looks like the original 235 housing lay flat on it. How are you swappers bolting these bellhousings down ? Mine has a bunch of cobbled junk that has the transmission sitting almost 2 inches too high. Do I need a different housing ?

Read some years back about using the 54 crossmember in the older trucks to mount the later engines and trans slanted mounts.

It's easier to get forgiveness than permission!
