What’s happened to Classic Parts of America (Chevy Duty). I haven’t bought anything
for the trucks for a while now but I placed an order over a week ago and taint heard a
lick about it. Their service used to be the best out of my “big four” and I used to get my
stuff from them usually within a day or two even though they are in KC and I’m in Chi-town.

Anyone else having trouble getting their orders from them????

Tks Tom, I guess I'll give them a call and see what's up.

Ive never had an issue and ive placed many orders with them.. They always e-mailed me immediately if a part was backordered. I give them 5 stars.

Not worried about whether they are a good vendor, I've been buying from them for 7years and they sit at the top of the list, just was wondering if they are revamping their system or something cuz it's taken way to long this time.

No need for that Tim, I finally got an email tonight, parts are back ordered, they want to
know if the parts I ordered on the 28th should remain on BO or do I want to cancel them.
Nice of them to tell me nine days after I ordered the parts. If I'd have known that I would
have ordered them from another vendor last week.

I agree, Denny. 9 days is a long time - Classic Parts is usually faster than that in giving us an update.

I hate to say it, but I stopped ordering from them after they pulled that backorder thing on me three orders in a row. In each case, I only found out about the backorder by checking the order status on the site. No emails. The last straw was when I ordered the window rubber kit. It came missing the window channels. When I called, they kept telling me they had a problem with the vendor and that the parts would be in next week - for like six straight weeks. I finally got a tech on the phone who claimed that they had a quality issue where the channels would not bend properly around the top corner. I told them to send me what they had and I would make it work, and I have not ordered from them since.

2 weeks ago I ordered bumper brackets for my '53 and same day I got the email that they were on B/O and do I want to cancel, which I did. The rest of my order shipped the next day. Only problem I've ever had in the past is getting a repeat B/O notice after the item already shipped.

I buy practically all my parts from them over the counter. I cant remember them not having an item in stock.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
