For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 188 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 188 | I'm looking at purchasing a Progressive Pro Slip rear suspension. The PO had decided to lower the truck on the cheap by removing some of the leaves from the leaf springs and routing them under the axle. He also cut the tabs off of the top of the axle where the leaves sat and welded them onto the bottom of the axle. The problem I'm running into now is how the frame rests on the axle bumper right on top of the axle. I'm hoping that the Progressive setup will fix that issue and allow me to get this thing one step closer to being on the road.
Does anyone have any experience with these or other rear suspensions?
Thanks in advance!
