old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 46 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 46 | I am thinking about the possibility of painting my truck (48 chevy half ton) a flat olive green. What approach would work best and what supplier do I need to reasearch for paint. Also, this will be the first vehicle I have painted. Any creative ideas on wheels and special effects would als be appreciated. I am thinking of runnind either an artillery wheel or smoothie painted a white or cream color or maybe I will paint the wheels plive drab or black.Any help or advice will be useful | | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 326 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 326 | Check out the SteelSoldiers web site for olive drab paint info. Those folks are serious OD users.
