I found a set of monos for my 55 chevy. So far I've installed the front and it's really bouncy but I do have gas shocks. I'm wondering what the best shocks would be to smooth it out. Anybody had good luck?

I had the same problem with my monoleafs, rode like there was no spring action at all. I went back to my stock springs with 3 leafs removed and polyliner in between the remaining leafs.

I think Posie's 2-leaf lowering spring would work much better but don't know anyone who's running them.

I'm running Posies dual-flex springs on the front of my 55.1. I'm very happy with them. Here's a link to my installation pix.

regards,
Leon
