I just read an ad on ebay where a guy claimed he had 19.5 wheels on the back of his '53 and Dodge 17" on the front. Will a late model 19.5 match the bolt pattern on these trucks ? I would be all for upgrading to tubeless radials.

Is your truck 10 bolt with 5 in front? There are 19.5" wheels in this pattern or if you can find them 22.5" wheels. I had some 19.5" that came off a step van.

You might read through this http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/wheels/
The newer wheels are a regular conversation around here. Got a link to that Ebay Item, would like to see pictures of one with that combo..

Can't see the rears and the fronts aren't anything I'm familiar with. I'll read up on the 19.5 conversion. I called my tire man and the 10X20 bias are hard to find and expensive.

the truck pictured in the ebay link you included looks more like a 1 ton than a 1 1/2 or 2 ton. If so he would have been dealing with 8 bolt pattern and smaller diameter drums. I had a 48 1 ton and put 17.5 tubeless tires on front and 18" tube type on the back. Don't remember what the tubeless wheels came off.
