The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Interiors rust above windshield inside cab on 63 c60

Anybody got any suggestions for me here ? Above the windshield seal I've got some pretty bad rust. It's nearly the length of the windshield and clean thru. I'm not doing a frame-off resto, so it's not critical that it's perfect... I probably could fiberglass it but it seems hard to do based on the radius involved combined with the seal having to fit just right. Anybody ever dealt with this one before ?

I've seen thsi before and it's a real difficult area to work with, especiall the size as you stated. The onl way to properl repair it is to replace the roof at the pillars. Just make sure whoever does it measures every opening 4x! I'm doing one now where the roof was replaced at a body shop and the door opening is now tight.

Could I use body solder ?
