For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 84 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 84 | I have a 1958 GMC Napco 3/4 ton longbed. I have some questions about my longbed. There are two different lengths of longbeds...right? My truck bed sides measure 100 inches and this would be bed wood measuring 97 inches...right? Am I right when I'm measuring the bedsides from the absolute ends of the bedsides? I'm just trying to get a handle on the different types of beds made for these trucks. A little education would be helpful. I don't think they make the long longbed sides as reproductions. Mine are O.K. but require a little work. Will the shorter longbed fit on my long long bed frame? Also, are the 1/2 and 3/4 ton rear fenders are different or is it just the spare cutout fender? Thanks for the help.
