I have a 9inch with disc brakes with a 62" width from axle flange to axle flange. I am looking at 9.5" or 10" x 17" wheel. I want to know if these will fit under the fenders with no mods. What kind of backspace can I run?

I have Cragar SS 15x8 with 4 1/4" back space. 235x70x15 rubber. They do look good but I am wanting to go to a larger rear rim/tire, I dont want to get into a clearance problem with the inner or outer fenders. I am looking at a set of American Racing 200s. Like the ones on the Two Lane Blacktop 55. Love that car. 17x9.5 with 4.75" backspace for rear only. You have to order these wheeels and I am trying not to make a big $$$ mistake. Hopefully someone will see this and have the answer.

I am going to run the same offset I have now on the front. It is a CPP disc brake conversion with camaro brakes. It clears OK now.

Went to a local small tire shop that also sold Crager wheels. Talked to the owner and discussed problems with returning wheels that won't fit. After we agreed that he would not charge me for wheels that would not fit he got on the phone and measured numerous times. After a couple of days he had Crager wheels that would fit
my 37. Fitted three different rear tires until we got a size that fit in the rear fenders. Long story short, go to a tire/wheel shop and put the risk on them to get the right size.
