The axle had been he done buy who nows and they threw out the parking brakes levers and cables. Any photos or cut sheets would be of great help [email protected]

But basically cable connects to the lever and the lever forces the shoe outward. The best thing, really, is to get a shop manual for that year. Try to find out where they threw out those parts. They're hard to come by for 3/4 tons and I don't believe anybody is making repros.
As Ed indicates, the manual is about the best source of pictures, etc.
