I like the plain steering wheel with the round center horn button.Which do you guys like better? | | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 426 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 426 | I prefer the stock wheel with cap personally, but its really what you want. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 132 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 132 | | | | | | Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 800 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 800 | The horn rim is for upscale trucks. On the right truck there is no substitute for it. The round button-no rim horn button and wheel is for the everyday work truck and they are what most people are used to. There really aren't a lot of really dressed up 60-66 trucks from the Factory. Especially 60-62, so it really makes a difference when bringing up the level of the restoration. Ecklers has a couple of the parts necessary to make it work. Obviously, you'll need the correct wheel to go with it. Sell it if you don't like it. You'll get a little bit o' cash in your pocket. Email the parts sellers on here and see how much they'll charge you for that setup. Might surprise you. | | |
