I'm needing a hood and door windows for my 63 c60.
I found a 1964 suburban that has a good hood and windows, but not much else good frown the burb has a very
rough body but does have a "running when parked"
350 in it along with complete drivetrain. The burb could be
restored but it would be a major job. The guy wants $500
for the burb. I'm not sure if that's good or not.... As you can
tell I'm new to this.... What say ye ? Any advice
appreciated smile

If the Suburban has ALL of it's seats, they could be sold and you end up with the truck for free to get the parts you can use on your truck.

You should put a message in the "For Sale" section to see if there's any interest in parts you can't use and go from there...

Don't know about your neck of the woods but scrap steel is selling for $220\ton around here. Buy the Sub, pull the good parts off it, scrap the rest and you'll fairly close to the $500 cost. The 350 core if it spins by hand should be worth at least $100-200 by itself.
