John -

NAPA carries most parts for these older trucks. Give them a try.

folks im still in need of help with this clutch. The problem is when we got the truck it was all apart.it came with 3 different clutch discs .There was a 10" 11" and a 12" that we found in the bed.so far we have figured out that the 10" that classicparts and jim carter carry ,will not fit, the preasure plate is to small, its not lining up with the bolt holes.did 54 chevy pickups with 235 come with 11" clutch discs?we think the correct one that will work is a 11".thanks folks any help wouls be appreciated. john

Do you folks know off hand if the 1954 1/2 ton with 235, 11" clutch came with a diaphragm from the factory? If so was it the flat type or the raised type?

thank you john

John,

Here is a diagram. Replacement pressure-plate assemblies will not look exactly like an original.

Good luck,

I have a 54-55 261 with 11" clutch.Sent clutch disk and pressure plate to Jim Carter and they relined clutch and rebuilt pressure plate.I think Patricks has the same service.
