I thought this was interesting and had never heard of it before even though apparently this has been done before.

That's pretty neat. It sure was more work to "go fast" back then than now. What I mean by that, is new cars are so powerful, blah, blah, blah. A neighbour of mine has a Nissan with 900hp. It just isn't the same to me, as seeing a built up six, or flathead. Sitting around drilling out jet with a tiny drill bit, is more interesting to me than telling the robot to make more boost.
