For helping keep this great

Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 132 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 132 | I installed the power brake kit in my 65 c10 lwb. The brakes seemed hard. I just installed a new intake manifold, carb, distibutor, valve covers. Now it seems like I have to much vacum. . Any ideas would be great. thanks Brett

It stalls as soon as I pull the line off power brakes. Has pretty good suction on line off the new carb.

It should stall when you pull the line off. Means you booster has all the vacuum it can get. If your brakes are still hard, need to look at the booster not working right. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 132 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 132 | I understand that the engine will die. My 89 has alot less vacum on the 350v8 compared to the 283. I don't think there is anything to check on booster or is there. Brakes aren't hard they go to the floor now? | | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 132 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 132 | Thanks for the help, a good friend thinks it might not have bled right without enough vacum. I'm going to try rebleading the brakes. | | |
