So, Today I set about to finish my brake job, but lo-and behold, when I opened up the new master cylinder, it didn't have the push-rod. That's okay, I can put door locks in!
Well, I'm a bit frustrated. I tried to instal the lock in the passenger door, but couldn't get it to work, so out comes the glass, and the latch.
Now, looking at the latch, it looks to me like the "paddle" on the lock should be horizontal. The "paddle" on my re-pop locks is vertical, and I just can't seem to make this work. I can fiddle and get everything together, but I can only turn the key 90 degrees, not the 180ish I need to lock, and unlock the door.
Am I missing something here? I must be doing something wrong.
Also, I don't see how the door lock is going to work on the rear barn doors at all. Maybe my rear latch is missing a part. Maybe I'm just tired and I can't see an answer that's right in front of me.
Here's a picture of the rear latch and one of the locks.
