Any suggestions on who manufactures the fuel line from the tank to fuel pump? I can only find tanks and straps for burbs listed by dealers. My '50 line had water in it and pretty much crumbled when I removed the tank for cleaning and sealing. The front 2-3 ft. were missing when I got my burb, so I really don't have much for a pattern

I also could not find the fuel line for my 54 suburban. I had one made to match my existing line (by Inline Tubes or Classic Tubes, I can't remember which). The company keeps the pattern, but mine would do you no good - 54 is different from 50.

Let's hope that someone with a 47-53 line will respond.

Oh, if no one else posts a picture, I can post a picture of mine (49) for you. By the time I'm done work today though, I'll bet someone beats me to it! As I recall, it just runs along the frame rail up to the fuel pump.

oh, wait a minute, you wanna buy the line. I'll take a 'pitcher if you want me too, but it just runs along the rail. I'm on "watch topic" now, so just get on here and yell at me, and I'll scurry out and clicky-clicky. I hadn't had all my cups of coffee this morning when I read this. The line on my Panel is just 5/16 double flare steel.

Thanks everyone. I did go to the website but only saw lines for pickups. I'll contact them to see if they have an updated list.

If they say that they have one, ask if it is for a 54 Suburban. If they say "yes" it might be from measurements they used from/for mine - it is different from yours (they might not know that it is different).

Hey Mr. Lang. Thanks for your offer. That would be a big help as it seems there are none made. The length would be helpful too if it's not too much trouble.

Well, I have a couple of crappy pics here. I was going to jack up the truck tonight to finish my brake-job, but I have a bit of paper work I need to get done. I can tell you its about 80" long. I'll take some better pictures tomorrow night, when I get 'er jacked up. These really showcase how terrible the bottom of my bus looks!

Now, when I did my brakes, I had to replace part of the lines, and I found that a roll of 25' of steel line was about $13. Pretty cheap compared to the "pre-ended" lengths the parts store sells.

I'm not sure who manufactures them,Inlinetube probably does. You can purchase direct from them,or you can get them here. You can get plain steel or stainless steel lines.
fuel lines
They are the same price from either place.
