Does anyone know how to remove the door jamb weather stripping on a 54? I cannot see how it is attached to the cab. I see alot on replacing the seal on the doors themselves, but nothing on the door jamb.

Thanks,
Darren.

It is slid into the groove. So, the two ways to remove it are:
1.To slide it out (not likely because it is most likely no longer flexible and the metal groove was pinched against the seal at the factory.
2. Rip (literally) it out.

Thanks Tim,

Just ripping it out is usually my first thought, but i thought maybe i would ask first so i didn't cause myself any headaches down the road.

Update:
Weather stripping came right out once i stopped being a wuss about it and just ripped it out. Hopefully after some prep work i'll be almost ready to paint the interior.

Thanks for the help.
