They were a rare option in the 66-68 Chevelle SS 396/375HP. I plan to bolt my 427 to it in the spring & just want to know if anybody has any personal experience with this trans. The Chevelle guys claim that it is tougher than the muncie 4. I do know that the t-10 was a variant based off the trans. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,963 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,963 | In my opinion, the T16 is the next improvement over the T89. And the T89 was one of the toughest boxes ever built. The T10 shares a lot of the same engineering as all of the BW boxes. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 426 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 426 | Thanks for the input, thats gives me alot of confidence in the trans. | | |
