It powers up but no sound.There are only three wires on the back of the radio,a red(power) a green and a black.I have the original single dash speaker in the truck and/ or two newer speakers(8ohm)where do the green and black wires from the radio go, tried those to the speakers but no luck. However, make sure that you don't leave it powered up for very long, and certainly not at a high volume, while testing. I would think that your speaker should be connected between the two wires green and black or two speakers, one between the black and ground and one between the freen and ground. You should hear a gentle thump when the power is turned on. Do the wires terminate in a quick connect? If you can't get it to work than maybe it needs to be repaired. Previous owner put two speakers in there on each kick panel (8 ohm). Can I run both speakers off the old am/fm? Or should I just use the old single speaker still up under the dash. Mounted it in the dash and now it blows the in line fuse, gotta check and see if the back of the radio is touching some other wires causing a short. What size fuse should I be running?
