I did the search for "348" 44 finds. This confirms what I have already found out in the few short weaks I have had the "beast". The 348 was a fairly rare motor, or no one likes to talk about them. With that in mind does any one know if they share a fuel pump with the SBC 350. From looking at it from the outside it looks like the bolt holes are the same. It looks like it has the same plate it bolts to. I am asking because my 348 fuel pump is bad. The parts store can order me one but a few days away. As long as it took to find it I forgot to ask the price.

That would say to me that fuel pumps can be swapped between Chev. V8 engines, hope that helps. | | |

Big blocks, 396-454, etc. don't share a lot of parts with the 348/409 engines. http://www.348-409.com/348409interchange.html Hope this helps! Jerry
