Has anybody used the ZR in red oxide? I am planning to do my truck and leave it primer using ZR because I do not have a compressor to spray and ZR can be rolled on. Anyway, I'm wondering what the red oxide color actually looks like on metal. Especially after being in the sun. Although mine will have a home in the shop (I hope!).

Thanks

looks just like red oxide primer, including the sun fade, as it gradually happens .... they recommend their 'Crystal Coat' clear for UV protection ..... but ZR works fine straight up

Does anybody have pictures of their ZR fading because of sunlight? I just want to get a feel of how bad it gets... Particularly the black or red oxide colors

Update: Bill at mfgsealants.com said he does not have pictures, but he has had no fading on his wiper bracket (always in sun) after 2 years.

Anyone? Almost every post here about ZR mentions how it fades, but I really want to see a picture..
