I was wondering if anyone thought the Zenith 228 was a good carb and if it would run/work well with my 235?
235 - passenger car - 1955-57.
My truck runs rough (like it is missing even when warm) and think my Roch B may be the cause.
I have set my points to 16 (17-19 the engine is not happy with) new plugs, wires and cap.
Thanks for the help in advance, any thoughts/advise are welcome and sorry if I missed this question in another post.

It is not common to put a Zenith on a Chev because most people are looking for a cheap fix. Also, new 228 carbs are available. Sources include http://www.autotestsys.com/Zenith.htm and http://www.carbsonly.com/carbs/indfarm.htm and possibly others too. I have not heard any good things about a Rochester. My Grandfather had a 54 GMC with the 270 (I believe) and it did have a Zenith on it. That truck ran like a Swiss watch from 66 tell the day he passed on in 2000. So I am going to go for the Zenith. Hopefully it will resolve my issue.
