The original color was a red-orange. Seems like it wouldn't be that hard to find a correct paint code or formula for this color, but there seems to be very little information. I do know that the big gassers were painted a green/gray up to maybe '56/'57 and then they started with the bright reddish orange. I have a lot of orig. GMC literature, but there's no info on engine colors. Any information would be much appreciated!
