How do you remove the steering wheel from a 65 chevy c10? It has the horn rim.

There are 2 screws on the back of the wheel on the spokes. Remove those and the ring and cap will come off. Then undo nut in traditional manner.

Thanks I was looking for screws on the front of the steering wheel. Did not look on the back.

If they are factory, they are 1/4" hex head...a 1/4" nut driver works great. My melon is too large to see them from the back, so if you can't see them, it is hard to determine what head-type they are for removal.

If you need to see something that you "can't get your head around", use you camera phone and take a picture. Works great under the dash also.
